    Thank you for your interest in Greater Pottstown SHRM.  Our chapter prides itself in working with host speakers that are of interest to the group.  We know that you will be joining us during the work day and need to justify your time away from the office.  Each speaker is carefully selected so that you take away new knowledge that will transfer into a business setting.

    Our meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each month at noon at Brookside Country Club in Pottstown.  We would love to have you join us for our next meeting!

    Board Members 

    Jennifer Martin, SHRM-CP, PHR President

    Jennifer, SHRM-CP/PHR started with PeopleShare in 2007 as a Branch Manager. She was quickly promoted to Area Manager and now is Regional Vice President. Jennifer manages the Pottstown, Reading, Pottsville and Allentown locations. She manages over $20 million dollars annually and loves to work with her teams on leadership, engagement and DEI.

    Jennifer is The President of The Greater Pottstown SHRM Chapter and obtained her PHR in 2012, has her SHRM-CP and a certificate from Villanova University Continuing Studies in Professional Human Resources Management. Jennifer is acknowledged as a contributor in 101 Hiring Mistakes Employers Make and How To Avoid Them by Richard Fein.

    Casie Gordon Vice President

    Casie has worked in the Human Resources field in a generalist capacity since 2000 and has received an Associates Degree from Lansdale School of Business in Paralegal studies, her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Delaware Valley College and a Post Bachelorette Certificate in Human Resources from Ursinus. 

    Casie started working for CVS Pharmacy in 1992 where she worked her way up to Supervisor.  It was here that she discovered her interest in working in the field of Human Resources.  In 2000, she started working in the Human Resources department at Sermatech International, a company who develops and applies engineered protective coatings to the aerospace, power generation and oil & gas industries world wide. Casie continued to progress in the HR function at Sermatech for the next 10 years and became the Manager of Human Resources Administration.  In 2010 she decided to take some time off to become a stay-at-home mom but remained dedicated to the Greater Pottstown SHRM Chapter.  In 2012, Casie joined U.S. Axle, Inc. and currently works there in the Human Resources role.

    Casie has participated in the Pottstown Chapter of SHRM since 2003.  She has been the Secretary of the Chapter since 2006 and became the President Elect in 2010.  Casie is also a National SHRM member since 2005.

    Deborah Majer, SHRM-SCP, SPHR  Secretary 

    Deb has been at Iron Mountain (a Global Leader in Information Management Solutions with over 18,000 employees) for 13+ years, holding many positions within HR, including HR Manager, HR Business Partner for field operations, as well as her current role as Workforce Experience Manager in territories that stretch from Maine to VA. She has been in the HR field for 30 years in various roles as HRIS/HRMS, Generalist, Department Head, and Consultant. She has particularly enjoyed working on Acquisitions, Employee Engagement, and Mentoring those just starting out in their careers.

    Deb has her MBA from Eastern University and BA from Temple University. Deb’s been a member of the Greater Pottstown SHRM since early 90s and has served on the Board as Secretary for few years, as well as, a few other roles. She has also been a member of National SHRM for a many, many years. 

    Shelly Stockmal, SHRM-SCP Treasurer

    Shelly Stockmal is the Victory Community Leader and Vice President at The Victory Bank in Limerick, PA.  Ms. Stockmal supervises Human Resources responsibilities, which has a serious commitment to employing a superior workforce.   Ms. Stockmal also handles special projects for the bank and is a member of the leadership team.  She has been in banking for nearly 30 years and previously held positions at National Penn Bank and Commonwealth Savings Bank.  She is currently serving as the Treasurer of the Greater Pottstown SHRM. Shelly has been a National SHRM member since 2013.

    She is also currently serving as Vice Chair of the Bank Health Care Consortium of PA’s Executive Committee.   In 2016, she graduated from PA Bankers’ Advanced School of Banking.  Shelly served on the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s (PA Bankers) Women in Banking Advisory Committee from 2013-2020. In 2013, Shelly obtained her master certificate from Villanova University continuing studies in Human Resource Management.   In addition, Shelly’s community involvement includes over 13 years of being a Girl Scout Leader and was honored with the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2016 in Pottstown.   She is a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts.   

    Sandi Chieffo Speaker Chair

    Sandi joined the Borough of Pottstown in 1989, holding various positions from Administrative Assistant to Human Resources Coordinator, to her present role as the Borough's first Human Resources Director since 2013.  

    Sandi graduated from Eastern University with her BA and earned her AS from Montgomery County Community College.  She has been a member of Greater Pottstown SHRM since 2003 and SHRM National member since 1998.

    She also serves on the Board of Directors for Diamond Credit Union and is a member of the ALCO Committee.  She is also a member of her children's Music Boosters, Girl Scouts of America, and TriCounty YWCA Women EXCEL.

    Jennifer Hinkle, SHRM-CP, PHR  Marketing & Membership Chair

    Jennifer started her HR career with Yellowbook as a Regional Coordinator. She then began working as a Generalist/Business Partner at Procura Management Inc in Norristown. Her responsibilities included employee relations, recruiting, training and development and performance management. In 2015 she accepted a position as a HR Business Partner at BNY Mellon. Jennifer currently works as the HR Director at F.M. Brown's Sons Inc. and oversees all HR functions at the 4 divisions of the company.

    Jennifer graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Human Resources. In 2013 she obtained her PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. She has been a SHRM National member since 2011 and a Greater Pottstown SHRM member since 2014.

    Jamie Meredith, PHR Certification Chair

    Jamie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Philadelphia University.  After graduating, Jamie started to work in customer service and benefits for an Insurance brokerage company, however within several years she moved into an HR Generalist role for a non-profit Behavioral Health organization.  In 2010, Jamie completed the Professional Human Resource program at Villanova University and obtained her PHR certification.

    Jamie has been working at Iron Mountain, a Global business dedicated to storing, protecting, and managing both information and assets since 2011 in several different HR roles spanning from Human Resource Administrator, Onboarding Specialist, to Benefits Specialist. For the last 7 years, Jamie has been part of the Employee Relations Team for all of North America.

    Jamie has participated in the Greater Pottstown SHRM since 2011 and began serving as the Certification Chair as of 2022. 

    Sara Dryka, SHRM-SCP,  Community Chair

    Sara is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at The Lincoln Center for Family and Youth (TLC), an entrepreneurial nonprofit based in Audubon, PA that serves the Greater Philadelphia Area. In her role as CHRO, Sara leads the HR function for 100+ employees working in innovative education, coaching, counseling, grant writing and school district and universities management services.


    Sara has many years’ experience in HR generalist, managerial, and consultant roles in various industries. Her skills and expertise include strategic planning, staffing, recruitment, benefits, training and development, performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, compliance and safety.

    Sara earned her BA in Communications from The University of Delaware and her MS in Human Resource Management from West Chester University. She later obtained HRCI certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and currently holds SHRM certification as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Sara has been a National SHRM member and Greater Pottstown SHRM Chapter member for many years.


    In addition, Sara’s community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors of the Royersford Free Public Library since 2017, and is currently the Board Secretary. Sara also enjoys being involved with the American Red Cross and volunteering at her children’s schools.
