Minimizing Costs and Managing Risk in a Post Election PPACA World: SAY WHAT? Healthcare Help!

In June, the Supreme Court confirmed that PPACA is the law of the land.  Consequently, several large PPACA initiatives will become effective in 2014.  These will include automatic enrollment, introduction of penalties for certain employees who receive government assistance to purchase coverage on the exchange, data feeds between employers and the federal government regarding employee earnings and medical plan eligibility, the introduction of essential coverage guidelines and the opportunity for some employers to terminate their medical plans and send employees to the exchange to purchase coverage.  Additionally, if the IRS continues to delay the release of PPACA 2716 non-discrimination regulations, these may also be initially effective in 2014.

And yikes!  The elections will be over.  With the dust settling, what will the election results mean to 2014 PPACA implementation?  This presentation will provide a high level overview of what employers can expect post-election, will review strategies employers can pursue now to prepare for 2014 and provide guidelines for estimating additional costs that may accrue to the employer in 2014.
