This presentation will discuss some key developments and hot topics emanating from the Biden Administration in wage and hour law, including those taking place at or through the U.S. Department of Labor, and touch on some labor-related issues evolving from the National Labor Relations Board.  We’ll take a peek at the past under the Trump Administration, while providing comparisons to the actions in the first 9 months of the new administration.  We’ll also offer some insight and thoughts about what the future holds in the employment regulatory realm.  We’ll do our best to provide guidance and “predictions” to help you navigate the world of employment law in 2021 and beyond.

Below is a brief list of some of the questions we’ll entertain:

    • Will wage and hour issues and the Department of Labor return to center stage and unleash to dogs of enforcement, while undoing employer-favorable progress during the last four years?
    • The PRO Act, pro-labor sentiments in D.C., and the “new” NLRB – is it possible to make even non-union employers’ lives miserable?
    • Will the employment laws and our workplace world become more or less complicated?
