Union Awareness: Are YOU Aware? Are YOU Prepared For A Visit From Union Organizers? Gerry Peterson Tartan Group LLC

    This session will provide an overview of the steps of a union organizing campaign, the changes happening in those processes and the proactive steps employers can take to improve organization effectiveness and reduce the interest of employees to seek union representation. We will look at the reasons employees seek union representation and the persuasive tactics used by unions to target new members and discuss the practices employers can use to build effective relationships with employees to reduce interest in organizing.
